CINETS returns to Leiden Law School in July 2026 for its seventh bi-annual conference, organised in collaboration with Border Criminologies and the Van Vollenhoven Institute.

The theme — Crimmigration in an Age of Authoritarian Drift — examines punitive migration control amid democratic erosion, racialised exclusion, and digital surveillance.

Researchers, practitioners, and artists are invited to follow conference updates as the programme is finalised.
