CINETS 2024 conference closes in Portland
The sixth bi-annual conference at Lewis & Clark Law School renewed the network’s commitment to cross-global comparison on detention, deportation, and border violence.
November 15, 2024Hosted by Lewis & Clark Law School in cooperation with Oxford’s Border Criminologies network, CINETS 2024 brought together scholars working across North America, Europe, and the Global South.
Panels addressed externalisation, racialisation, legal resistance, and the infrastructures of migration control — themes that continue to shape the CINETS 2026 programme.
